Looking Back 5: Silent Hill
Hey! It's back folks! Terrible internet connection so it may be cut short due to impatience.
Silent Hill
Console: Playstation
Release: 1999
The plot follows Harry Mason on a drive with his daughter Cheryl. Due to unfortunate circumstances he swerves off the main road and crashes. When he regains consciousness he finds Cheryl missing. Following a shadowy figure he stumbles across an alleyway where he is ambushed...
This is something I find funny. When we first bought this game it was rather scary to me. I dived under covers or behind the chair most the time. Recently for fun I brought it out again and low and behold the choppy graphics I once considered state of the art are nothing more than pixels trying to shoot an equally pixilated monster. This game however still remains today as a well recieved franchise and continues to get more and more scary!
I shall leave it there for today!
Edit: I think I'll stop the Looking Back now, not only because I'm busy but it's becoming more blog-like rather than something open to discussion.
